In the Dandenongs with my brother. I had planned 28.5 with 1200m climb, though *someone* warned that we should probably do a shorter one after the race last weekend.

We should have listened. This didn't go well. When we got to the Kokoda track carpark (bottom of the hill at Ferntree Gully) we decided not to climb back up and instead used Garmin's "back to start" feature and went along the roads. It still wasn't flat and we did a lot of walking. Both wrecked by the end and a bit annoyed at ourselves, tbh.

Edit: it wasn't all bad, we saw an echidna AND a lyrebird!
