Jogging 51:26 [3] 9.26 km (5:33 / km) +68m 5:21 / km
ahr:142 max:157

Only real point to this run was to make me feel less like a blob after missing the ride this morning having woken late feeling hot and tired then eating crap food at a middle-of-the-day 30th party.

From mum and dad's, weather had cooled down nicely and got drizzled on the whole way. Tried to do dad's loop but he'd warned it was overgrown and I found it was nearly non-existent (just a glorified terrain run) so I backed out and ran the rest on tracks.

Swimming 45:00 [3] 2.1 km (21:26 / km)

Was busy. Was slow.

Jogging warm up/down 15:21 [3] 3.0 km (5:07 / km)

Running intervals (Treadmill) 10:20 [5] 2.43 km (4:15 / km) +146m 3:16 / km
ahr:177 max:186

It was 39 degrees outside so chose the treadmill. Got in free which was nice. Never done a treadmill run before. Didn't feel waaay cooler in the gym but must have been surely.

6 x "Hills" - varying between 1min41s and 1min48s. Didn't bother to program in a session and faffed a bit putting the speed / gradient up for each rep so maybe a little more recovery than I'd get on the road. Still felt bloody hard though and HR very high! Gasping by the end of each rep. Treadmill on 6%, 14.2km/h.

Jogging warm up/down 34:19 [3] 6.1 km (5:38 / km)

Recoveries and warm down. Struggled to get HR down in the warm down.

Jogging 50:58 [3] 10.05 km (5:04 / km) +48m 4:57 / km
ahr:154 max:168

Run part way home from work. Felt OK to start but was still feeling a lot of fatigue (though no soreness which is good) and battling to keep my HR under control in the heat. Decided to pull the pin and walk the rest after 10km, not worth killing myself

Cycling 1:01:35 [3] 25.9 km (25.2 kph) +215m

Meant to be an easy spin; it was very slow but didn't feel that easy. Very weary. Did one lap of Richmond Boulie with the intention of sticking to the flat, got bored so did a lap of Kew Boulie.

Jogging long 3:39:36 [3] 30.03 km (7:19 / km) +1200m 6:06 / km
ahr:147 max:171

Longest run ever (by time)! Starting at Mt Macedon Memorial Cross, ran down the spur then an ascent of Camel's Hump, a lap of Sanatorium Lake and a big loop on the next spur (don't know the name) before heading back to the Cross again via the lake.

With Conan and his friend Alex, Alex only made it to 19km so we sent him off down to the Trading Post and said we'd pick him up after. Conan was doing well until we climbed Zig Zag track (~2km climb) and I had to drop him off at 25km and come back to get him.

In contrast I was feeling pretty good, certainly way better than last week, and was still running up the hills right to the end. So that's promising!

Cycling 2:39:51 [3] 71.16 km (26.7 kph) +650m

Ride Kyneton - Redesdale return. Felt easy and good on the way out, found out on the way back it was because it was mostly downhill and tail wind :( bonked a bit on the return.
