Decided to try the stretch of offroad on the East side of the river between Bridge and Victoria - it was nice but the steps involved to get back onto Victoria make it questionable whether it's worth it.

Tried to take a shortcut to the supermarket on the way home and ended up turning onto a street of legit mansions which unfortunately was very hilly and in the shape of a "U" with no side streets so I came out almost at the point which I entered...

10km to go yesterday my gear cable snapped. Bought a new one from the shop this morning and tried for about an hour to fit it but in the end I sent the boys off alone. They just did a quick ride up Tawonga and back. Then we drove up Buffalo (dropped Kyhil off with 11km to go so he could ride the rest) and Mellor and I ran Lake Catani - Mt Dunn return. It was so beautiful! The boys then did the descent on bikes, I was very jealous.
