Desperate to find new places to run so today I tried to run on the E side of the river south of Swan St / N side of Gardiner's Creek but was thwarted by the presence of Scotch College (and figured that even without students they would still have security). Why the hell do they need so much land??

HR strap had a fit so no idea. Felt reasonably terrible at the start but OK at the end.

Niiice and easy. My body thanked me for it. Went exploring around the Melbourne Uni Burnley Campus (has anyone mapped this yet? Might make it a project...) and the trail along the Burnley golf course (sadly you can't run on the course).

Sufferfest - Getting Away With It.

Started off doing Nine Hammers, it was immediately apparent that my legs were cooked and it wasn't happening, so switched to an easier (base) session. Will stick to the easy week plan.

Long run from home, as directed by Mr Andrews. Lucky to have the Yarra Trails nearby but I suspect I may come to be very sick of them. Was very rough, muddy and slippery. Felt pretty poop and loosened up eventually but never really felt strong.

That's 3 hard weeks now, might ease off this week.

A ride in three parts (but I have just added them together).

1. Went out to ride on the Boulie. Got caught in the apocalypse. Went home after 14min.

2. Got on the trainer and started doing 'Kitchen Sink' - a 3 hour mashup video. Got bored very quickly and could see it had cleared up outside.

3. Did the last 2.5 hours on the road. Was mostly dry other than a 5 minute period of hail and then another 10min of spitting rain.

Felt pretty fatigued and not very strong throughout. Very frustrated with starting so late in the day after a late one last night (Kyhil's birthday - virtual video call party). Highlight was seeing Clare and having a conversation from 5m away.
