Garmin went flat then lost the activity so stealing Kyhil's and adding some time. Ride with Matt and Kate from home through Eltham, Kangaroo Ground, Hurstbridge, Nutfield, Strathearn, Nutfield again, Diamond Hill, Eltham and home. Really really quiet and lovely except the bit through Eltham on the way back. A bit of rain in the first hour then pretty good for the rest. Feeling a bit tired and this was very tough!

Saw the physio today, she said the ankle sprain was quite bad and advised against running for a few weeks (which I will take seriously coming from her, because she is one of those physios that try to keep you running as much as possible). Bummer.

Easter Day 2 - Long. Estimating off the GPS tracking as I didn't have my watch.

Awful. Lost 9-ish minutes on 5 and a little time on 6. Would have been happy with my route on 8 but I did some stupid error at the start of the leg and lost 2 or 3 minutes. Lost a little time on 11 and then nearly 6 minutes on 12.

Chose a bizarre route to 14 and then near the control I badly sprained my ankle (the kind where you lie on the ground and have a little sob for a while). Tara found me (she had already pulled the pin) and we walked / hobbled back together.

Didn't enjoy this at all, just a slog through green for 80% of it. Didn't take a gel (quote me "this will take less than 90 minutes, don't need any glucose") and was starving by the time I was going to 14.
