Ankle was agony when I started the warm up, I thought I wasn't going to be able to run the race at all. Did a couple of 45s jogging then stopping and eventually it became bearable.

AV Cross Country at Lardner Park.

This one is very hilly (steep hills) and actually has a fence and some muddy ditches to cross. I wasn't feeling good aerobically - my breathing was very laboured and my HR was relatively low. Ankle survived OK but I definitely did a lot of wussy running because I didn't want to make it worse. I got through it anyway and it was fun to be there with the team.

12 Lap Wave with the Melb Uni group. 3 x (400 hard, 400 float, 200 hard, 200 float, 200 hard, 200 float).

Enjoyed this in a type-2 fun kind of way. Felt quite alright. I do like training on the track. Think I was reasonably consistent until maybe the last 200 haha.

National League relay - first leg. Same map as yesterday. Still very fun. Lost maybe a minute on #1 and lost the pack, damn! Then lost another maybe 2min or more on #4 when I was confused by a small track. Did the middle part with Mace and then we picked up a bunch of others before the finish. Came in 3rd, 17s down (in seniors, let's not talk about how fast the juniors were!).

Sadly for us, Belinda killed everyone in Leg 2 and Krystal ditto in Leg 3 so we were out of the running - but our other Vic team did awesome and came in 3rd.

Edit: looks like actually Caro was left off the results so I came in 4th, 3min down.
