12 PM

Cycling 2:00:00 [3] 48.6 km (24.3 kph) +793m
ahr:143 max:166

Back to the route Kyhil has termed "Two Loops" which we created during lockdown 2.0. Mostly very suburban but a nice bit through the middle past the parkland. Was feeling better than expected on the first loop considering I woke up still tired and sore, but slowed a lot on the second loop. No long climbs but just relentless and steep. I swear it was only 2 hours exactly ;)

Jogging 43:13 [3] 8.11 km (5:20 / km) +59m 5:09 / km
ahr:149 max:156

Gentle jog, recovery. Feeling tired and sore, especially right calf and hip.
5 PM

Strength & Conditioning 39:50 [3]

Sufferfest Strength - Intermediate 5A.

Was apprehensive as I was sore but it went OK.

Note

Felt too tired to swim this morning and thought "I'll do it tomorrow morning." Ha! Hello, lockdown, my old friend...
5 PM

Jogging warm up/down 11:32 [3] 2.28 km (5:04 / km)

Running intervals 14:59 [5] 4.0 km (3:45 / km)
ahr:177 max:184

4 x 1km (3', 2', 1'). First two good (3.38, 3.34) then blew up massively on the third (3.52) and survived to finish the fourth (3.55). Happy enough, just need to keep at it and will get more consistent hopefully.

Jogging warm up/down 29:54 [3] 5.33 km (5:37 / km) +14m 5:32 / km

Active recovery in the 3' and 2' and then warm down.

Cycling 1:32:00 [3] 38.66 km (25.2 kph)

Sufferfest - Chasing Legends

Not a hard session, but steady and some long bits at just under FTP to punish my legs which were a bit weary from yesterday. Really good video - following Columbia-HTC and Cavendish at the 2009 Tour de France.

Jogging warm up/down 24:05 [3] 4.46 km (5:24 / km) +58m 5:04 / km

Running intervals 21:00 [5] 5.15 km (4:05 / km) +18m 4:00 / km
ahr:179 max:184

3 x 7min / 3min float.

Still feeling pretty dusty from my brother's wedding on Sunday, tbh! This was better than expected but still uber slow. Seem to be catching up to some of the other girls a bit more though which is good. First one not bad but tightened up and slowed down in the second and more in the third. Ankle good in the reps but stiffened at the end. Floats weren't very floaty haha.

Jogging warm up/down 26:06 [3] 4.86 km (5:22 / km) +17m 5:17 / km

Floats and warm down. Also did strides but forgot to record them.

Jogging 1:19:41 [3] 14.32 km (5:34 / km) +124m 5:20 / km
ahr:140 max:154

A quite cruisy social run with the Melbourne Uni Aths Club old guard, along the Merri Creek. Ankle was stiff and sore and didn't really get better, this was possibly not a good idea to do my first 4-days-in-a-row for a while and also my longest run in ages.
