Gravel around Enfield. Really nice except about 45min in the middle which was a bush track largely inundated by water, lots of walking the bike. Got dark at the end!

5 x 1 km with 3', 2', 1', 1' recovery. Much better than last time when I only did 4! Time spread was only 8s instead of 20 and I did an extra. Kept up with (and even passed some) the others. HR still not working.

2 x 10min of roughly 500m steady, 250m hard and 250m jog (repeated until 10min) off 2min on grass.

First was ok and tried to hold close to the other girls, but they were slow getting back to the start point and missed it so I did the second one alone and it was rubbish, tightened up heaps in my chest and also stepped on a stick and hurt my foot again.

Attempted to go mountain biking in Plenty Gorge, but it was a fail - just spent the whole time either lost (it's not at all signposted) or walking obstacles I couldn't do. Also got a flat. Frustrating day.

Taking advantage of the long weekend to go for a big one around Hurstbridge area (had to change our normal one to keep inside 25km). Haven't done something this long in 2 months so it was a little ambitious. Was really lovely until we got back to Diamond Creek, but the route I chose to get home from there was about 30 short, 20%+ climbs which absolutely killed my legs. I keep trying to avoid the Eltham traffic but I would have preferred it today!
