Sunday Mar 5

trail run 1:26:21 [2]
went on a trail run with dad before the sprints. Felt quite tired, possible due to the fact that it was pretty hilly and I knew that I had two sprints to do when I finished.
Orienteering race 21:55 [4]***
I decided to do the longer sprint first to get it out of the way. Navigationally, I had a pretty clean run, only hesitating twice when I stopped a bit short. Legs though were having a hard time going fast and it didn't feel as smooth as yesterday. Also slowing me, and everyone else, down was the brambles. Once during this race I got cought around the waist and couldn't go and further without backing up and another time around one ankle.
Orienteering race 15:55 [4]***
I was so tired. Legs weren't moving, evenn on the trails where it was flat. I didn't have the energy to fight through the woods or run hard down the trails. Then I couldn't find the last control for awhile, wven though this course was supposed to be yellow difficulty... Just felt long. I finished and drank almost all the water I brought and ate 5 bananas :)

Sprint 1 - Splits

Sprint 2 - Splits

Saturday Mar 4

Orienteering 33:00 [5]***
Ran a relay course around Blue Hills. I was running hard for all of it and it was a clean run! This might be one of the few runs where it is my speed slowing me down, not my orienteering!
trail run 12:00 [1]
warm up and down

Friday Mar 3

Note
I had class from 3:30 to 7:30 today, so didn't get a run in. I also have class from 8:30 to 4:30 tomorrow...

Thursday Mar 2

road run 43:00 [1]
To Westfield Street, down after running up and then back home.
road run (hill workout) 14:33 [4]
Ran twice up the Westfield Street mile twice again today- 7:13 and 7:21. I kept my heart rate at theshold... or tried to! It was so weird- last week when I ran I had times around 7:30. This time my heartrate was lower, around 180 and my times were much lower and I could tell I was working harder, although my heart rate didn't show it. I could feel myself pushing really hard up the hill, but if I let off a little bit my heart rate would drop to 175 and I would have to step it up again. I don't know what's up!

Wednesday Mar 1

trail run 17:00 [1]
to and from the start
Orienteering 1:10:00 [2]***
goal for this session was using the contours to navigate without a compass. Went well overall, although near the end, maybe because I was getting tired, I messed up two controls in a row, never even finding the first one.

Tuesday Feb 28

road/trail run 1:35:00 [2]
a longer run around town and the trails. And 4 minutes of high knees, butt kicks and such.

Monday Feb 27

rowing machine 10:00 [1]
To get myself warm before I had to go outside in the cold.
road run 25:00 [1]
run around town with dad
rowing machine 11:00 [2]
rowed again after I went running. Pulled a bit harder this time.
