Orienteering 23:45 [4] 4.0 km (5:56 / km)

First Sprint at Mine Falls. The navigation was easy, and I was runnning hard the whole way. My speed didn't feel too fast, but I was just about maxed out. Need more speed training! I was about 2 minutes behind John and 20 seconds behind Ross.

Orienteering 25:20 [4] 4.0 km (6:20 / km)

The second sprint. I got stuck going to #2, as the river was marked as crossable and I didn't even consider that it may not be. Had to stop, look around, and then the long way around back to the bridge. Again about 2.5 minutes behind john and about 20 seconds behind Ross. At least we're all consistent! Beat both the boys on some splits ;)

road&trail run 53:00 [1]

an easy run with ross in the evening after class. We might have run a bit further, but Ross had just eaten for the last 2 hours straight and so wasn't feeling great.

trail run 22:00 [3]

Threshold run on the trails in the Blue Hills with dad. HR was a bit low because the trails were a mess of soft snow, slush, ice and mud. Couldn't get the grip I needed to run fast. HR around 180/181 most of the time, dropping to 175 and peaking at 184.

trail run 38:00 [1]

warm up/down run around the trails in Blue Hills before and after the threshold run.

road run (threshold hills) 21:00 [3]

3 times up Westfield Street. My HR was lower than usual and I had trouble getting it to go higher simply because I couldn't run any faster. Times were 7:02, 7:05, 7:12. Around normal times, but a bit slower, which makes sense since HR was lower.

road run 1:20:00 [1]

To Westfield Street the long way, down the hills and the run back home.

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3]

An orienteering cvourse in the Blue Hills with dad. There was a few inches of snow on the ground - enough to go over the top of my shoes and get my socks wet. We were trying to run harder than usual, and still were trading off legs to run from memory.
