| Went for a run with Hill around Newton. Another nice day where I can run in light pants and a t-shirt. My new shoes are great! I really really love my old DS Trainers, but they are quite expensive. Then I planned on getting 2120s, but they didn't have any in my size. So I settled for 1130s, but really, I don't notice a difference. The really strange thing is that I have been wearing a size 8.5 in the DS Trainers, but I got a size 7 in 1130s. Maybe wearing shoes a size and a half too big is the secret to running? I guess I'll fine out. |

| Hill and I did the hour pilates video when we returned from running. I think I pulled something in my neck and by the end of the video I was adapting the adapted version of the exercises. Some of them, I can't imagine anyone doing (except they were doing them in the video - but then again, these people can touch their toes to the ground over their head). A good core, quad and butt workout. I was promised a tighter butt and thighs if I keep this up. |

| A short run with dad. My quads are sore from the last two days, so we were only planning on running for 20 minutes. At 20 minutes though I felt good so we went a bit longer. Such nice weather! I think this happens every January - it gets warm and then plunges back into the low 30s and 20s. |

| I was going to erg for 20 minutes, but then I ran longer than I planned... so 15 minutes it was, while watching some Alias. Hill got me the Alias video game for Christmas. Let's just say that Sydney experienced many medical emergencies while I was controlling her. |

| Biking with dad. I think he forgot that I haven't done any exercise in 3 weeks. I was trailing behind him the whole way and he would have to wait for me to catch up. The saddest thing is that my legs are actually sore from my 30 minute jog yesterday. The next few weeks should be interesting...

| Calf raises, crunches, back exercises, attempts at more than 6 push ups in a row. An amusing sight probably. My cat was enjoying it though, as I could pet her as I was doing crunches :) |

| First time running after about 5 weeks of nothing. It's hard to believe it's been that long! Hill came over and we ran around Newton. My legs were tired, which is relaly no surprise. I thought about doing strength work many times during these past couple of weeks, but never got quite to doing it. It's all sort of bittersweet :) |

| On my way to doing more than 3.5 hours of strength this January! Good goal strength buddy :) Hill and I did pilates together when we came back from running. She then suggested push ups, but video games won out as the preferred activity. |
