Orienteering 32:36 4.72 km (6:55 / km) +32m 6:41 / km
ahr:165 max:182

No big mistakes, but very messy orienteering. Not paying enough attention most of the time and running past things, or missing a bit on the compass.

trail run 34:15 5.19 km (6:36 / km) +36m 6:23 / km
ahr:128 max:144

It was so beautiful out on the trails that I really enjoyed my cooldown!

Dan Weintraub took some great pictures at NAOC that you can find here:

Who knew I was so graceful.
But I can also sprint.
One of my favorites, as I think it shows the strength and hardwork of the sport.
The face of giving it all.

12 PM

trail run 1:44:43 [2] 18.0 km (5:49 / km) +142m 5:36 / km

It's beautiful out in the forest. Still shorts weather with the sun shining and the leaves changing colors. Kate and I took a few wrong turns, but that made for a great long run!

7 PM

lifting/strength 25:00 [2]

A late day at work, so I went to Kate's and we did some Freelectics.

Wednesday Sep 28 #

6 PM

trail run 1:03:01 9.92 km (6:21 / km) +228m 5:42 / km
ahr:138 max:175

Kate and I planned to leave work at the same time so we could train together. Decided on hills, so we did the Sten Sture hills. 8 x 50 seconds means that I will be sore tomorrow!

I had to bake fika for work tomorrow and I have a reputation to uphold. This was not my most favorite thing I've ever made, but it was still good: Homemade Oreos

5 PM

lifting/strength 21:00 [2]

Arrived back in Uppsala but with so much pumpkin spiced coffee in my bag, I couldn't bike everything home. Took the bus home and then ran down a bit later to get my bike. I enjoyed the fact that I could run downhill and then bike back home :)
