More skating! This time Lovisa had heard that the lake up in Björklinge was plowed, so we headed out to skate somewhere new! The ice wasn't as smooth as Fjällnora but there were way fewer people. We did 3 loops of the 5.7km loop. Colder, but surprisingly sunny!

I've started logging on Strava as well, since so many in Linné log there and it's fun to see what they do. Plus, as soon as I plug my watch into my computer, it uploads to MovesCount and then also directly to Strava, so it's easy.

Another Saturday, another day out skating! We met up with Annika and little Léon and skated 2 laps of the lake with them. A beautiful sunny day today, so lots of people out there. On the far end of the lake it was much less busy and we even had a photo shoot session out in the mist. Sofie fell asleep when we arrived and slept the entire skate and the whole way home. My hips got a bit sore near the end, so passed off the stroller pushing to Ross, but my pelvic joint pain was nonexistent! So that's exciting!

Sofie and I took the bus to the indoor track today! We met Annika and Léon at the track. There are stationary bikes alongside the track, so she ran a workout and I did a spinning workout.

It worked well, as I had the babies with me, and Annika would check in briefly between each interval. I did 4 x 4 minutes... mostly. The first one was fine, but the second one got interrupted by unhappy babies once. Then the next one was fine, and then there was a short pause in the final one. Maybe next time I should do shorter intervals to account for having to deal with situations. Sofie enjoyed lying on her blanket, watching me. She wasn't necessarily super happy about it all the time, but she wasn't screaming about it. Léon had a moment of crying, but I held him and we cheered for mamma a bit and then he was happy again.

Linné has booked the indoor track for an hour twice a week: Mondays and Fridays from 11-12. On Mondays that's the same time as the babysitting at the gym, so I will probably choose the gym most weeks as it's closer and there's a spinning class, at least until I can run intervals again. But it's a fun thing to do on Fridays! It takes awhile to get there and back, about a 8 minute walk to the bus stop from home, and then a 30 minute bus ride that lets me out right across from the arena. I was gone from the house from 10-2 for 30 minutes of spinning. Sofie sleeps well in her stroller on the bus, so it's a great way to get her to nap. And we can't spend the whole day cooped up inside the house anyway!

Babysitting at the gym again today. She was a bit more unhappy, but I think that was due to her not following her normal morning nap schedule. However, I don't think she was ever solidly crying, just complaining. A bit longer on the elliptical today for me.

It was snowing pretty hard this morning, and the sidewalks weren't recently plowed. Therefore the 2.2km walk there (and back) was a bit more challenging than normal.

And, I think I've worked out a schedule where I can get to the gym 6 days a week, if I stay motivated!

7:15am spinning class! Sofie actually woke us all up at 6:20 this morning, so I didn't have to worry about missing my alarm. On Tuesdays there is morning spinning, which is great because it's before Ross has to be at work. Soooo much fun to be back spinning! Really looking forward to doing this every week. It's intervals: 6 x 4 minutes.

Sofie and I went to the gym today and I dropped her off at the babysitting. She apparently was just delightful the entire time, so big change from last time! I just did the elliptical for 30 minutes.

In the evening we went to rock gympa, and this time brought Sofie's bouncing chair. She happily looked on as we all did gympa!
