Sunday Mar 24 #

10 AM

road run 8:59 [2] 1.42 km (6:20 / km) +1m 6:19 / km

A short warm up. Realized 4 minutes before the start that my SI was in my jacket picket, which I had taken off and put in my bag. A bit of a sprint there.

Orienteering 1:06:28 [2] 8.4 km (7:55 / km) +98m 7:29 / km

Yeah. That was embarrassingly bad in a way that I didn't think I was capable of. I would have quit when I was looking for 4 except that it was a relay and I actually had to find that silly control. This is what you get when you don't train and I don't like it. I'm competitive. I want to do well. But I don't have the time, energy or mental capacity to deal with this at the moment. I can't go out, orienteer badly and enjoy it and I'm not a good enough orienteer that I can not train and still do well. So I think my current solution is to stop orienteering until.... until I quit my job?

Saturday Mar 23 #

3 PM

road run (stroller) 1:06:38 [2] 11.27 km (5:55 / km) +75m 5:43 / km

We waited for the sun to come out, and then did a family run into town to go to the Pelle Svanslös playground. Lots of kids there, which was fun for Sofie.

Friday Mar 22 #

2 PM

road run (stroller) 52:44 [2] 8.89 km (5:56 / km) +93m 5:38 / km

Left work a bit late, so had a shorter run to go get Sofie. We then an home, and then ran to the park to meet Lisa and Sigrid. Sofie played a bit, and then we walked back to my place to hang out. A fun Friday tradition!

Wednesday Mar 20 #

lifting/strength 45:00 [1]

I joined a colleague for step class again this evening. It was more fun than last time because I had a better idea of what I was doing.

I think running in the cold on Sunday finally tipped me into being properly sick. Didn't train last night and hoping that my voice comes back soon. So an easy step class was just right.
