Spin distance class. Not usually my favorite format of spinning (I like intervals), but I managed to work hard and get my HR up pretty high. Nice to sweat out the stress and anxieties.

Orienteering 45:49 [2] 5.38 km (8:31 / km) +32m 8:16 / km

We went orienteering! A beautiful day, so we drove the 30 minutes to the local event and Ross and I both ran open 8. Then Lovisa and David came over to babysit Sofie while Ross and I went out to a fantastic dinner at Miss Voon. This is the first time we've left Sofie with friends and gone out, and it all went great. Sofie had so much fun with David and Lovisa and they gave her dinner, gave her a bath and were reading bedtime books when we got home.

trail run 10:00 [1] 1.5 km (6:40 / km)

Friday Apr 5 #

2 PM

road run (stroller) 9:22 [1] 1.77 km (5:18 / km) +7m 5:12 / km

A very short run to preschool to get Sofie and then the few minutes from her preschool to the doctors office for her 18 month check up. It's so nice that everything is so close - 9 minutes from home to preschool to the doctors!
3 PM

road run (stroller) 29:59 [2] 5.28 km (5:41 / km) +54m 5:24 / km

Then Sofie and I went for an extra loop so I could get some exercise. She enjoyed it (and stayed awake!).

lifting/strength 50:00 [1]

Joined my coworker for step class this evening. Still trying to "rest" by not training as this cold is killing me, though I'm not sure it's helping. Step class isn't so hard though, so it's good to at least feel like I'm doing something. Sofie slept from 7pm to 8am two nights ago, and then last night was awake for about 2 hours. I don't understand it, but it makes me so tired. I think the lack of sleep more than the exercise is what is making it hard to get healthy again.
