Didn't get to doing strength yesterday (Fridays are busy since Sofie can't go to preschool, so I have both kids all day. And Sofie doesn't typically take naps anymore.) Today was therefore day 2 of Commit 25 (days). Another HIT style workout, focusing on legs. 50 seconds on, 10 seconds off.

I had to pick up a package (new bags for the diaper bin, how glamorous!) and I decided that the fall weather was so beautiful that we had to walk there. It's only 2,4km and we can walk 90% of the way on trails. I took the double stroller and wore running clothes, figuring that I would run home. Ella rode happily the whole way and Sofie walked. The trail was a bit muddy and then Sofie wanted to get in the stroller but persevered. Ross then left work early so he could take Sofie to the pool, so I ran home with both kids in the stroller.
Went slow, and it's slightly downhill so it was fine. That thing is heavy though! I was hoping that Ella would sleep, but Sofie actually fell asleep as she skipped her nap earlier.
Unfortunately, we forgot the pool is only open for adults after 6pm. To be awakened from your nap at the pool, then go inside and find out that you can't swim is hard for a 3 year old. A bit of a meltdown, but then Ross and Sofie chased the ice cream truck and bought 4 boxes of ice cream so all was well. Sofie was apparently so enthusiastic about it all that the ice cream driver also gave her a free ice cream truck night light, which is awesome. All's well that ends well.

Ran into town to meet Catia for a workout and then lunch. Sara joined us today too!

Catia, Sara and I did 2 cardio workouts from Moms Into Fitness. It was fun having the 3 strollers lined up with the babies watching us :) These workouts involve lots of jumping around so the babies were amused. We managed to get through 2 x 10 minutes of workouts without any fussing. A minor miracle!

Started the Commit 21 program on Moms Into Fitness, which I now pay for. They do have a free weekly playlist, if you want to try some new workouts!

Today was a HIT style workout. Sore the next day!

Had a really tough evening with Sofie. I had to do a small amount of dinner cooking, but she only wanted to read books with me and apparently could not wait. Melting down, waking up Ella from her nap and then of course she was mad that Ella was around too. I needed a break.

When Ross got home he ate dinner with the girls and I went for a run. Nice to be out, but it was dark by the time I got home!
