Sunday long run on my own. Then the rest of the day organizing for Halloween. We gathered some children and warned the neighbors we would be trick or treating. About half the houses on the street had candy, and they were all the ones that we already know. We also had homemade cookies (2 kinds) and homemade donuts in our driveway for neighbors to come and mingle. Even with the heat lamp it was chilly, though not as cold as it could be for an October night. Not too many people came, but it was still nice.

Saturday Oct 30 #

Orienteering 56:00 [3] 3.54 mi (15:49 / mi)

Dad and I ran Rodhenloppet together which is a night mass start pairs race. The course was pretty easy and there were lots of trails, but it was hard to actually run off trails the forest was really uneven. We started with the plan of me navigating and Dad just running behind me at the mass start. Once the crowd disappeared we were able to both navigate. It was a good night for it - not too cold and no rain.
