| Dufton: Last british champs fell race of the year, felt really rubbish and tired fri night and sat morning, then i drank relentless....
Apparently that wakes me up a lot! legs have no flat speed in them so after a conservative start up the gentle fields i didnt have any acceleration on the track, didn't matter too much when it came to the steep proper climb as my legs were well up for that!! overtook 3 people! uphill! this is unheard of! i might have gained an ability to run uphill while loosing a little of my downhill pace but still took about 3 mins from the top of the hill into the fields :-D was relatively happy with 46mins as havent prepared much at all for running atm, natalie white is very fast however and won in 35! Aim for next year: get some speed in my legs so i can feel like i should have won the champs and not won by default! | ||

| Went for a reccy of the struggle before wil does the tri again set off from lakeside, went through ambleside and returned via windermere, only took 31mins16 up the struggle which makes me happy :-) (it was 2.85 of the miles but had 382 of the m climb in it...) | ||

| World trophy trials - running from llanberis to the top of snowdon via the llanberis path. Dont think i'd done quite enough training to do well in this, ran most of the way comfortably but just didn't have the leg speed to change my pace. Was happy that i could even run up snowdon atm but was hoping for a slightly faster time. Ah well, two years time and ill be back for another uphill only, hopefully minus the recent injury/cough....
This will have done me the world of good for dufton though! hoping that will go well! | ||

| woke up with no voice and cough which had got worse however needed to test the ankle b4 physio tomorrow. went up to bolehill via commonside did a little loop around the park and then headed back via heavygate road.
Felt fairly rubbish and think i scared some passers by with some choking half way round but the good news is the ankle appears fine! almost completely normal wooooo!! Now i need to shift the cough by the weekend or i might pass out b4 the top of snowdon. Think the world trophy trials is gonna be a decide on the day whether im running type thing. I will undoubtedly be last regardless of whether i can breathe! | ||

| Got to see a physio finally! Apparently i have the opposite problem to most people in that my ankles are too flexible therefore didnt protect my bones/joints when i damaged it! She seemed quite happy to have something more original in the land of new mills to treat! Some1 finally poked it instead of just looking at it and assuming everythings ok coz its not swollen! After she loosened off all my ankle and surrounding joints it felt much better, now i just need to repeat that session a couple of times a week and i might get fixed yet :-D | ||
