Running (7 William Hills) 53:00 [5] *
ShUOC race round the 7 William Hills - lost zanthe,gaz and laura at the top of springvale due to traffic lights changing then ran most of it on my own. Shins didnt appreciate tarmac i dont think....
hehehe got funny looks from shoppers around the centre, interesting route to 3rd control and a bit of faff near primark (too many roads to decide where the map actually meant) but generally good

6minute intervals - not sure if i picked the right distances this week, its different when i'm not nackered to start with!
1= 800m - found this too little but really ran it fast for a first one, liked the fact mountain biking obviously hadnt wrecked my legs as much as i thought it had
2 = 900m - found this fine, didn't want to push it too far with 2 to go
3= 900m - this was also fine, could have kept running but couldn't make my legs move any faster
4 = 1000m - i think i should have really done 4 X 1000 but it was worth trying to make my legs move faster on shorter distances i think.

Everything ached from mountain biking, especially arms - made press ups difficult!
8 sets of 5 activities at 45/15
intensity varied due to which muscles hurt most to start with - sit up related stuff was fine - more like a 4
arm related things involved more of a struggle.....

Mountain Biking (Marin trail) 5:00:00 [4] 25 km (12:00 / km)
awesome route round welsh forest, good downhill sections especially the one at the end! managed 2 punctures (one of which meant a swift run along the track to catch the bike pump up), my brakes suffering a battering and almost broke my derailer!
excellent finish to the weekend
