Walking 5:00:00 [3] 8.0 mi (37:29 / mi) +780m 17:53 / km
Snowdon horse shoe - attempted to do more than 3/4, 3rd time lucky! was really misty on top (totally didnt nearly end up in the wrong valley twice) and there were nice patches of snow but we made it round.
Having planned on maybe running around in wales this wkend i only took my mudclaws = ankle did not appreciate the rocky terrain in them.
were better than the o-shoe version for gripping to wet rock though!
met some crazy crazy people heading up crib goch at about 2:30 wearing lonsdale 'i have no grip' trainers and asking 'is there a ridge up there?......oh dear....we didnt see them fall off the side though
C • yeah... 3

Thursday Apr 24

Running race 23:38 [3] 2.5 mi (9:26 / mi) +152m 4:56 / km
Hartcliff hill - possibly still feeling the effects of the AGM....shoe fell off half way up the hill which was a bummer but wasnt travelling very fast anyway!

Monday Apr 21

Running race 35:00 [3] 4.25 mi (8:14 / mi) +170m 4:33 / km
Trunce 2! well my 1st.... didnt push it, ankle wasnt happy on firm surfaces....which is most of the race and legs were lacking a bit in energy! was happy on hills (in either direction) and on grass though! will update time to correct time when i actually know what i did!

Sunday Apr 20

orienteering race 28:00 [5] *** 4 km (7:00 / km) +75m 6:24 / km
spiked:12/12c
British champs relays womens short: YES! made up for yesterdays faff with a clean as clean can be run! (28 mins is a bit of a guess as i was 1st leg with emit so my time wasnt accurate on splits...plus it took me a while to make it down to the finish after handing over!) could not have run any harder, think my ankle may not have fully appreciated that but heh, it meant we were 3rd so woooo!
