Note
(injured)
Got to see a physio finally! Apparently i have the opposite problem to most people in that my ankles are too flexible therefore didnt protect my bones/joints when i damaged it! She seemed quite happy to have something more original in the land of new mills to treat! Some1 finally poked it instead of just looking at it and assuming everythings ok coz its not swollen! After she loosened off all my ankle and surrounding joints it felt much better, now i just need to repeat that session a couple of times a week and i might get fixed yet :-D

Wednesday Jul 30

cycling 1:00:00 [4]
Set up the turbo trainers in the garden so liz could get used to her new pedals and shoes, did a session involving 10mins warm up, 5 min 'hill' with harder effort on 3rd and 5th minute followed by 3mins recovery then 8 sprints of 12 seconds with 30 seconds recovery between. After a rest of 5 minutes we did a final long 'hill' for 10 minutes then 10 minutes warm down. 1st real effort on the muscles in ages!
Core 10:00 [3]
Post cycle core training on exercise ball and garden patio. Stomach muscles didnt no what had hit them i dont think....sit ups on the exercise ball followed by full body crunches, leg lifts and back extensions and a chair for good measure!
