Running 1:34:45 [3] 10.0 mi (9:29 / mi) +671m 7:50 / mi

Tigger Tor - decided to do this to see if i can run 10 miles as i worked out i haven't run for further than 6 miles (and that was on road) in the last 6months!
I was very pleased with the result, really really nice route and suited me quite well with some good bog trotting and steep decents. :-D
Didnt run hard today just wanted to confirm I can do it and remind myself what it feels like to run 10 miles. Was suprised at how fast I can run when I try as I blasted down to and from the last control point!
Winning female was 1:19:40 so still some way to go but feeling much fitter!
Knee held out well until the river crossing after Higger Tor and that...not sure what I've done to it, mebbe a wk of revision will clear it up...

Running warm up/down 20:00 [2]

Warm up/down at track - got there too late for strides as car needed jump starting, hopefully its all fixed now!

Running 8:45 [3] 2.15 km (4:04 / km)

5:50 reps - decided to go for 800m, 1st one felt much better than the last time i went to track in terms of effort needed to run it - 3:04 so not overly fast yet...turned out track was a step too far for my legs which were fully lactic acided up so my attempt at 800 number 2 resulted in a v.v.slow 400m - about 95seconds, went for the third 800m with a slow time of 3:16 but was happy to run it then the last rep disolved into a 150m rep as that is literally all my legs could reasonably handle!
Not the best track session ever but its a start!

Running 12:30 [3] 1.7 mi (7:21 / mi)

Run pre circuits - legs were feeling stiff and not wanting to move too well after yesterday

circuits 40:00 [4]

Circuits - bit of a shock to the body hehe, not done any circuits for aggggeeeees - hard work but felt good to have done it :-)

circuits warm up/down 20:00 [2]

Warm up/down at circuits and run home - legs felt much looser post circuits!
