Running race 50:00 [4] 4.7 mi (10:38 / mi) +405m 8:23 / mi

Edale country show - race went as expected for most of it, was planning to run the uphill within myself so I might have some leg pace on the edge path (this didnt happen until heading towards grindsbrook). At the top of the hill Jenny was just ahead on the edge path which was a shock but gained a bit due to me tootling along the edge..
When we got to grindslow I was happy knowing there was only down left and my favourite bit of the race was about to happen.
Just as I thought about trying to gain some positions and time on the women ahead I went splat!
Even before it got steap!
Thankfully I did this on grass as I landed on my chest and face - so that wouldn't have been too pretty if there had been a rock in the way! Now have a fat lip and managed to draw blood from my elbow on grass! I landed hard!
Didn't manage to gain the time I wanted obviously but did prove zanthe right...my slow downhill is still faster than a lot of peoples fast downhill....(I managed to hobble down the hill slowly and still managed to overtake the woman who was in front of me! Just kept her off until the end)

Running race 1:09:39 [4] 5.75 mi (12:07 / mi) +762m 8:35 / mi

Stretton hills race - knew it was going to be tough, exams have made me nackered the last few days so was lacking in a bit of the hill climbing skill.
Considering that not too bad a time - 10mins down on zanthe still though..and this was a short race!
39th woman so out of the points for that but without exams would have easily made top 30 I think

Running 15:00 [4]

Track: 1st time in ages - did 400m run/200m jog/ 200m run/ 200m jog repeat - set myself limit of staying til 7 as we started late and I have too much to learn...so managed 3 sets
400m: 87
85recovery
200m:42
85 recovery
400m:89
86 recovery
200m:42
99 recovery (ventolin stop included)
400m:91
90 recovery
200m:43

Note

Official diagnosis of asthma today - sundays peak flow readings were the major evidence
While its hot and pollen like its making for difficult running! but the evidence that ventolin works was at track tonight - last time I did that session I nearly passed out in the warm up then was so slow it was horrendous for the actual session...tonight was much better and conditions were worse!

circuits 40:00 [3]

Circuits - half assed cardiac ones and took it fairly easy as chest is still not fully happy after yesterday - peak flow was lowest it has ever been this morning and rhr was really quite high for me (especially last night) was a bit better this morning..
Going to play some more at running in the heat before saturday or there isn't really a point in me starting stretton hills, I'll just go play on my bike or something instead...
