Running race 1:55:16 [3] 9.25 mi (12:28 / mi)
(injured) shoes: Mudclaw 270s

FRA relays nav leg - ran with Edie and we started off fairly high up the field thanks to our first two legs being guys! Were overtaken by 2 teams going to number 1 however got to the control before them after some interesting nav on their part.... Smooth across to 2 then I took the route next to the wall as there was a nice trod - further along that route it got tussocky....Edie didn't like tussocks, we lost about 6 minutes to our vets team here, I got a little chilly....however no problem, we got it all back by spiking the 3minute leg to 4 as they went for a wander.... started pushing it up the hill from 5 so got warm again then cruised down the track to 6 as something in my leg wasn't happy (possibly ITB again? Not sure, it was below the knee). After this I decided to hammer it in Steph style down to the finish which was fun and felt like we were racing properly! Overall we were 41st team, scraping in about 30s before our vets team, not bad for a mixed team....not quite the performance we had at hodgsons though

circuits 35:00 [2]

Barely worth counting this as training, quite a lot of lying on a mat interspersed with the odd bit of core work and stretching! Any more training before the weekend is now banned!
