Running race 53:10 [4] 5.75 mi (9:15 / mi) +406m 7:35 / mi

Wolf's Pit fell race. Set off and kept with Steph on the first climb (4th/5th position), Helen leading just ahead. Not too surprisingly my legs were a bit cooked....Flat pace nion non existent so dropped to 50m or so behind Steph, vying for 4th but the last climb saw any hope of that out the window and I spotted Claire on my heels. Flew down the last hill knowing her abilities here - she must have been going at amazing speed as she caught me and passed me as we hit the finish field...so 6th overall.

Interesting how things are changing, I ran 5mins faster than the last time I did this race (which was in dry not the wet conditions of today) and finished one place lower I think....Peaks womens racing is getting ever stronger!

Hen do - 2hrs of burlesque dancing, walking around in heels and 2hrs in poppy-T's - legs feeling it....

Laura's Hen run :-) Out to Rivelin in garish lycra (I win the most luminescent game....I'm not sure if that is really winning though). Relay involving vodka jelly shots and then run back. Good to be out with all the ShUOC girls again!

Thought about not going to Edale but strangely felt ok when running...

shoes: Haglofs Trail Shoe Pink

Edale 2nd Half recce with RFR and Zanthe. Started off windy and rainy but cleared up nicely! Tried out a few lines, not completely spot on but not far off... Conditions have made the shoe choice easier...

Run with Wil from Ladybower. V fast to the top of the hill to catch the last of the light! Then a more nice pace :-)

Pennine Tues run from Hope with Geoff Lee and Steve. Pace higher with Steve back. Straight up Lose Hill, down to Edale side from Back Tor, back up to Hollins Cross, down towards Castleton, up Mam Tor via the old footpath (direct), down WInnats, up to the Castle and back to Hope through the Fields below Lose Hill.
