Yes no 3: OCT recce with Wil, RIch and Steph. Langdale - Grasmere - Helvellyn - Flowery Ghyll - High Raise - Harrison Stickle - Langdale.

Another lovely day out, steady away and feeling good considering the last few days.

Yes no 2: Duddon recce with Rach FR and Dave in pea soup. Took some spectacularly bad lines and saw not very much.... but a good day out. What a contrast to yesterday! Garmin thinks we were stood still for 56mins - which is possible as we did do some pretty slow nav - but probably also contains some of the steap climb up Little stand.

Three shires stone - swirl how - dow - skirted round harter fell - hard knott - little stand - stupid way off little stand - three shires stone.

shoes: Specialized Gerolsteiner

So I accidentally said yes to everything this week.
Yes no1: 80miles of the Fred whitton with Rich on his last training ride. Ambleside - Red Bank - Dunmail - Keswick - Honister - Hard Knott - Wrynose - Ambleside.

Wasn't sure how long I'd last as Rick has obviously been doing quite a bit of riding, but felt ok and made it all the way without holding him up too much. Stunning day - wall to wall sunshine!

Running 57:59 [3] 4.2 mi (13:48 / mi) +390m 10:43 / mi

Decided it was time to try and get a bit faster. Back to Helm. 6 reps of the steap side with accelerating run out at the top. Aimed to run every step regardless of how slow this was.

Rep 1: Felt like a dead weight
Rep 2: Not much better
Rep 3: Couldn't run it all so walked parts
Rep 4: Back to running
Rep 5: Running with a bit of bounce
Rep 6: Able to give it some

I'm pretty sure you're meant to get slower not faster with each rep...
