11 AM

kayaking 3:45 [3] 0.16 mi (23:29 / mi)

Comedy attempt at paddling on Windermere. Forecast had been looking more promising all week but had reverted back to the original 50mph gusts this morning. Abandoned ship pretty quickly!

cycling 1:49:21 [3] 23.95 mi (13.1 mph) +345m
shoes: Specialized Gerolsteiner

Arranged to intercept Sabs on her way to carnforth to pick her car up. Aimed for Briggsteer at 9am ish. Set off and felt like death, nothing to give and moving so slowly! Could barely raise pace above 12mph even on the flat. Almost turned around at the scar, but rode over the top. Warmed up into it a bit and by the time we met up was up for some flat riding. Headwind was mental all the way to Carnforth, headed out via Levens, Arnside and some convoluted loop to leighton moss for cake. All by 10:30am! Good mornings activity!

Walking 2:00:00 [1] 5.92 mi (20:16 / mi) +450m 16:24 / mi

Pre rattle gill stroll with Sabs and her friend Lindsey. Over Wansfell and back via Jenkin Crag.
3 PM

kayaking 1:00:00 [2] 4.0 mi (15:00 / mi)

Windermere paddle with Sabs and her friend Lindsey. Hard work in the solo sot, but changed half way with Sabs to get a much more leisurely paddle back in the double sot. Great to be out on Windermere, even better the forecast was wrong and it was very pleasant.
6 PM

Running 2:07:21 [2] 12.6 mi (10:06 / mi) +226m 9:34 / mi

Using the gap between antibiotics reducing pain and tooth extraction to fit in a training run with HPM team. Long scar run and back via the canal with Jenny and Heather. Fine for steady pace, however running back from Heather's with Jenny at 7:30/mile I knew about the infection still being there! Good to be out after what seems like a long time inside.

Note
(sick)

Antibiotics finally had the desired effect. Full nights sleep and able to concentrate properly for the first time in over a week.
