Running race 36:27 [4] 4.1 mi (8:53 / mi) +60m 8:30 / mi

Kendal Winter League in Sedbergh. Tired legs, very cross country like but ran fairly well, faster each lap and finishing 3rd. A good weekends racing. 1-1 in the Spain champs, me for HCN, Wil for KWL.

High Cup Nick Fell Race - Not my forte as it's a bit runnable. Set off with no expectations as not sure whether tooth would be fixed enough to run hard. Turned out to be fine and after a fast 35-40 mins, quite a lot of people appeared to have set off too fast when we started heading up the valley to the Nick. Overtook all the way up, from somewhere around 15 to 6th at the top. Breathing not too happy with the last steep climb so about 0.5-1mile easing off slightly on the top, then upped the pace as I started to be caught. Not sure how many places I lost on the descent but quite a lot. Turns out I can run uphill but not that well on long gentle descents! Still, a good run out for the thirs run in a month!

Badminton with Steve, Andrew and Zaeed. Even a bit of singles to finish which was much more energetic!

Thursday night Sedbergh run. Winder TT to get my handicap for future TTs. Not on full power as still some healing of tooth to go, but got up in sub 12 (~11:50) and feeling much better than the last month or so, so a good start and a good handicap ;-)
