Buttermere Sailbeck. Set off exhausted, had a headache and almost called it a day before Ard Crag, but Jo Gillyon kept me going with the wise words 'just enjoy it'. Got to half way in about 10th place and really not running well, then went up Causey Pike. By just after the top I was in 1st, steady away and stayed there to the end. Good old races with increading climb as you go on. First trophy :-)

Bringing Hallamshire Harriers session to Kendal with Lizzie and Catherine. Was meant to be 5x1mile with 2mins recovery but as I have done no winter build up I decided on 4 for me. And the others also agreed. The distance was slightly short at 0.95miles but the alternative involved throwing ourselves in front of traffic.

Ended up with less that 2mins recovery as I am not as fast as Lizzie and the less rest I get, the bigger the gap!

Felt good to get out and do a session, might try round Kirby Kendal School track next time.
