Bon Tempe. Test ran a course quite different from the ones for the upcoming event. Thought the concept worked very well, and I will pursue it further for possible use for 2021.

3.9 km, 110m climb, 18 controls, 3724 (stopped for 32 sec to check out something on the map)

Ran most of the way for the first 25 mins, but started fading after that and had to walk on uphills. But I only intended to make modest effort anyway.

Kortum Trail, Sonoma St Beach. Sunny and cool after a foggy morning. Got out very late as neither of us had been feeling very chipper and had a leisurely breakfast and then a nap. But I really wanted to get a run in, despite having a headache, so went out anyway. Lots of people out there, so several times left the trail to give people a wide berth. Never felt good, but it was a decent run.

For some reason, the gps track doesn't appear until 60% of the way through the run, though the splits data is there. And the distance from Sunset Rocks to Shell Beach parking on the way out seems to be about .15 short.

Subracted 58 seconds for the piddle break I took on the way back.

Still stewing over the negative responses to my Bon Tempe course data announcement. Have lost considerable sleep over that the last several nights and it has put a pall over this supposed vacation.

Steep Ravine loop out of Stinson Beach. Came back via the Dispea after lunch where the Old Mine Trail meets the Dipsea, a little ways down from Pantoll. Great ocean views. Rachel was with us.

This was the same loop L and I ran in January 2014.

Big toe didn't hurt.

Bon Tempe. Ran some legs I hadn't run in a while, and one I hadn't run at all. Set out the remaining flags. Moved two controls slightly to better locations.

Was very glad to get out after two days of not leaving the house, despite it being very windy and rather chilly. Except on one hilltop, I was comfortable the whole time.

Plan had been to hike the Steep Ravine Trail from Stinson Beach with L & R, but neither of them felt very well, so we postponed that.

Had hoped to go for a run today, or maybe put out more flags at Bon Tempe, but around 4am had a really bad cramp in my right calf, and it was still very sore throughout the morning, so never got out of the house.

George and Leslie stopped by in the early afternoon after they went to Bon Tempe.
