Walking 29:00 [1] 1.6 mi (18:07 / mi)
shoes: Jan10 2 Gel Kayano 11

A gentle walk with Louise. It was her first time out of the house in days. Unfortunately, she is not feeling any better - worse, if anything. Neither of us got much sleep again last night. Hard to see how we're going to get through this if it continues much longer, and from everything we read, it WILL last for several more weeks.

Leg strengthening 16:00 [4]

About 2/3 of the usual stuff (at this point, I wasn't feeling all that well).

Strength exercises 21:00 [4]

Completed all the weight, theraband and core exercises (got a second wind). Pretty beat afterwards,

Running (Easy distance) 59:49 [3] 5.66 mi (10:34 / mi)
shoes: Jan10 I Gel Kayano 11

My standard run along Skyline Blvd to Black Rd and back. This was my best run since I hurt my achilles in January. Ten days ago I ran this :16 faster, but this one was a much easier effort (as it is supposed to be for "easy distance"). It would have been no trouble to run another mile, or to run what I did run a minute or more faster - very encouraging. My achilles was stiff for the first 20 minutes, but loosened up somewhat after that. Fortunately, I was able to get a good, one-hour nap before running, as last night was another bad sleeping night due to Louise's whooping cough.
