Running 11:31 [3] 1.14 mi (10:06 / mi)
shoes: Jan10 2 Gel Kayano 11

Front of house, 2 loops, just to loosen up. Second loop at a decent 5:17. Not that I intended to run a 3rd loop today, but legs felt like I could've run something like 4:40 pretty easily. However, by the end of 2 loops my hip was getting sore, and immediately afterward it was very sore. Not good.

Note

Physical therapy. No strength exercise. This was supposed to be my last session, and hopefully it will be for at least for a while. Kevin thinks the problems I'm having in my hamstring, quad and shins (around 4am nearly every night, they ache) are likely due to a recurrence of whatever nerve issues I had in my back last year. I'm suppose to do a little traction exercise once an hour. Hopefully that will provide some relief in time for Friday.

Strength exercises 25:00 [4]

My full slate of core, theraband and weight exercises (with a couple of back exercises thrown in), but 2 sets each instead of 3.

Running 18:16 [3] 1.9 mi (9:37 / mi)
shoes: Jan10 2 Gel Kayano 11

Armstrong State Redwoods. Louise and I go fro an easy run along a beautiful, flat path through the redwoods. Just trying to stay loose, felt quite good until hte last half-mile, when my upper hamstring started aching, so eased off a bit instead of picking it up (which I was just about to do). A bit discouraging that I'm hurting more than I was a few days ago.
