Not exactly training, but walking to, from and (especially) around the Christmas markets sure makes my legs tired. And yesterday's run on the treadmill appears to have made my calves incredibly tight. Still haven't adjusted to the time zone change, either, so I've really been dragging.

The usual weekly accumulation of morning stretching. Missed some time due to travel.

Exercise room at our hotel, Eurostar Grand Central. Took a wile to get the hang of running on the treadmill. For the last 10 minutes, ran at under 10 min/mile pace.

Had never been on one of these before. Good because no impact on my heel.

Goettingen. Twice around the city walls trail. Despite it being 3am body time, energy level was good. 39 degrees, same as Sat's run, so that was no problem. Hips, groin and upper hamstrings felt strangely weak. Surprised I was going well under 9 min pace the second lap (when I got well ahead of Louise and Rachel).

Note

Travel to Goettingen Overnight flight (no actual sleep) to Frankfurt then rail. Reasonably easy journey. This is now a familiar route, third time in a year.
