Viktoria was dying so we took a little shortcut at the end across the train tracks and got wet crossing a stream. It was raining so we were wet anyway though. Despite the cold and rain I thought the weather was nice for a run.

I decided to just finish a full 2 miles because its an even distance, and so I could see where I was before the track season starts. I feel like I could have gone faster during the middle laps. It also would have helped if I had someone to push me.

Started off okay, but went off the trail too late on 3 and had to climb back up the hill to the control. Addie caught up to me on the way to 5 and we both were searching a little around the control in the rocky area, then I found it first. Number 6 I started off with one plan but ended up executing it differently, which still worked well for me. 7 was annoying to go up the hill entirely though prickers, and I saw Addie coming up the hill after me, so that's when my gears kicked in and the rest of the course was great and I was moving really fast. Lost a bit of time on 11 because I ended up to the right and had to run over to it.

First one- Spiked it! hehe, right on the trail. Mistake on # 2 of going too low and lost close to 2 minutes, then it was good until 4 when I was hesitating going down the hill and ended up to the right of it and had to cross over and go back up a little. That's where Izzy caught up and I picked up the pace. From there we would lose see each other occasionally by going slightly different ways and switch who was leading. # 10 we were off a little, but I quickly realized where we were and found it. # 11 was a little slow through the briars and we were off a little.
