Orienteering (Model Long) 1:30:00 [3] 5.78 km (15:34 / km)

Note

After the model we drove 10 min to Briancon, France and walked around the fortress and the old village. At every turn we kept commenting on where you could put a control for a sprint.

Orienteering race 22:50 [5] 2.98 km (7:40 / km) +90m 6:39 / km

The woods is fast and open and there's a lot of open fields. Today was good and no mistakes except I could have made a better route choice- I stayed high and then dropped down above the control but the hill was really steep and it was slow.
First was 37 sec faster, I'm 2nd overall.

Running warm up/down 3:00 [3]

10 min walk to start

Orienteering race 28:05 [5] 3.36 km (8:21 / km) +135m 6:58 / km

The girl that started one minute behind me caught up on 2 when I made a mistake by going off the trail too early, and ended up below the control, but then I got ahead and stayed ahead for most of the course until the second to last control when I made a 10 sec wrong turn and she passed me, winning by 1:06.

Hashing warm up/down 20:00 [3]

from car to start and back

Orienteering (Model Long ) 1:00:00 [3] 3.2 km (18:45 / km)

Running warm up/down 4:00 [3]

Orienteering race 14:31 [5] 1.95 km (7:27 / km) +40m 6:45 / km

Overall no mistakes except hesitating to decide which route choice was the best. The organizers I guess changed the map at the last moment and gave a different course but didn't tell us so the control descriptions were different than the map and I lost over 2 minutes on 3 wondering why the control was wrong until I finally realized and noticed they changed it.
It's so hard to breathe at this altitude while running.
2nd was 5 sec ahead, and 1st was 1:45 ahead.
