Path running in Lowry's Den Woods. Still walking every day but with the wind and rain backing off today I couldn't resist a jog round the woods. Shoulder achy, cold now on the wain (I hope).
Tried some easy running on the treadmill today, having got the all clear from the doc. I don't like the treadmill at the best of times, and having survived, it will be outdoors asap. However, now have a cold and the weather is minging.
Been doing a lot of vigorous walking this week >= an hour a day. Now one R quad muscle is sore, either because I injured it in the fall last weekend or because it doesn't like all the walking on hard surfaces. Used the gym bike today, and now doing the Phase 1 shoulder recovery exercises a la NHS. All good. Might look into buying a vest to support the shoulder while I run.
Glasgow 3 Parks event, but tripped and dislocated my shoulder in the second race. Going to keep as active as I can during rehabilitation. Will I make the Big Weekend?
