I haven't done any sprinting for ages, so with only half an hour available went to the woods behind the house to run as fast as I could for 1-2 minute reps on the new tracks that have been laid there. Good.
Windy but dry - again. Longish easy-steady off-road run in Penicuik Est with a loop back via Silverburn and Lowry's Den. Good run - need to do more of these. I really need to get back to about 5hrs training a week to regain fitness.

SOL1 at Devilla. Windy but dry day. This was very slow going. No navigation problems other than deciding which "50:50" route choice to make on three or four legs and I think I made the wrong choice every time.
Lovely Spring day. Easy out to Holyrood Pk via Abberhill, 78, 77, 78, 77, 76, 75s intervals, felt harder than the 10 I did a couple of weeks ago, easy back the same way. Legs feeling a bit tired after running over the weekend and a lot of walking yesterday.
ESOC Social. Beautiful evening. Jog round Colinton visiting places I had never been to before and collecting letters of the alphabet from various signs. Great warm-down from a busy weekend, followed by tea, waffles, several other forms of refreshment and a lot of banter.

INT SoSOL at Dechmont Law. Main aim was to maintain pace throughout. Went well, perhaps a couple of poor route choices and fought with some windblow in places, but well paced and happy with this.
EUOC FwtN at Braid Hills. V. windy, a bit wet, but good turnout and good course. Great place to run at night. Went well to 8 but then my colour blindness let me down as I misread the map at 9 for a thicket (green dot) when it was a knoll (brown dot). Spent a lot of time looking around thickets and got lost. Might have found 10, not sure, but after that it was 11, 12 & 13 back across the hillside to the finish so just ran that. Nice run anyway.
Went on to ESOC CATI at Corstorphine Hill. So busy, recycling maps, decided not to wait and went for a fairly firm run visiting every corner of the hill.
