| Steady, tempo run round Penicuik Estate and then up onto the Pentlands. Damp, cool, breezy, v.muddy in places. Plenty of energy but calves tight at end. |

| Hilly lunchtime run in pretty blustery conditions and muddy underfoot. After a couple of days away on work I thought I'd skip round but it was hard work. |

| Rather tentative, short interval session after a few energetic days, i.e. I went faster and slower, but faster was slower than usual. Practiced some downhill running. Damp and cold. |

| Long street run in Edinburgh taking in Meadows, Holyrood Park, King's Buildings. Breezy. but otherwise not bad conditions. Pleased with stamina, but didn't feel as sharp as I did before ChrIstmas. |
