| Scottish Night Champs at Kinneil Wood - well, south of Scotland champs in reality. Not the best night run but good enough to win. The organisers did well to negate the efforts of the local vandals. |

| Cycling indoors is cheating, I know, but it's all I could manage today because of work. So, went pretty hard at the favourite Cross Country course. Friday a.m. is not a time you expect to meet folks in the gym but Douglas was there post knee op., and Pricey, at a class for oldies. |

| Excitement at circuits class as we moved on to stage training - 6 stations, 3 x round 3 exercises at each station. This was followed by a fairly tough intervals session on ergos - 45s, 35s, 25s, 15s, 25s, 35s with 15s rest between. |

| Short lunchtime session on Blackford Hill - 5 x 2 min up steady slope. Times were good, but then so was the weather, excellent in fact. Still feeling a bit tired after Sunday's efforts. |

| CC event at Elibank. Nice forest in places, rough underfoot elsewhere, with some particularly nasty moss-covered bouldery areas. Felt a bit slow, but to survive this I must be more-or-less recoverd from the cold. A really tough workout - good training. |
