| British Champs at Culbin. Thought I'd run quite well but in super-fast area I was well down the field. Anyway, great terrain, great course and pretty good weather. |

| Slightly new format tonight and decided to have a bit of a push - advanced exercise at every station and slightly heavier weights - and finished with usual ergo intervals. Felt tough after five days of training. Had a chat with Steve about introducing some new and different exercises. |

| Only had half an hour at lunchtime. More like hill fartlek than intervals with some random pushes around Blackford Hill. Gorgeous, irresistible, cool, sunny Spring weather. |

| Went to the gym for a "gym mix" - bit of ergo, bit of circuits exercises and weights, bit of stretching. Had intended a light session but got caught up in a class when I couldn't refuse June's invitation to join in. |

| Long run home to Penicuik from the office over the Pentland Hills. Very nice, bright, cool evening. Got the pace right from the start and felt pretty good. |
