Running warm up/down 43:00 [2]
ahr:150 max:169
warm up to the stadium. I could clearly feel my legs from the downhill yeasterday. My motivation sunk to a record low, not helped by the weather or the upcoming long (boring) intervals.
Running intervals 20:00 [4]
The plan was to run longer intervals. I led it be ok after 2x10' on the Mattenbach round.
We didn't use this round since the winter and to my knowledge it was the first time I ran this course in daylight. Well the street doesn't look very tempting when you can exactly see where you will be in approximatly 4min and this point just won't come any closer.
Not much to say about the intervals. exept FB droped out after maybe 1.5' running due to stomach-problems (he joined in again on the secon lap, also only for about 1'...).

I tried to push hard and keep the speed up. I was at the turning point in 4.31 Finished in 9.44 ( heart rates 187/196). The second time was much harder again not much company and I felt tired after the first k. Passed the turning point in 4.37 and on the back straight the wind started to blow me back. Again a mental battle to keep up the speed. Unfortunately I saw MM way in front, last time I passed her easily much earlier. This wasn't exacly much help, but there is not much else to do than just hanging in and hoping it will all be over soon.
after maybe 7' I saw MM only some 50meters and my fighting spirits woke up again. over the next minutes I was able to close the gap and some 10 meters behind her, I put in a faster gear so there was no chance of following. The last minute was like the end of a track race, how do I just love this feeling :-(((
Finishing the lap in 9.50 was great, because this means I ran home the back-straight in the exact same speed as the first even with the wind.
my fighting is shown by the heart rates (192 /201)

on the way home a had considerable pain in my left leg.

Orienteering 58:28 [3]
Partner Training- Shadowed first a junior but after I while we split up in order to test the routes. Good practise considering the forest.
Running 57:57 [4]
ran home afterwards from Brauiweiher-Töss-Seen-Home. First it went rather good but after I while the track got adventerous as I used a map from 1984 and some things have changed since then.
Down at the Töss the harder part started, once I climbed up I ran mostly on straight long streets, my legs got rather tired and it became a battle mentally. I tried to push hard and lift the legs in order to get it over with. The struggle continued so therefore at home I concluded it might have been a bit too much. Still it's so nice to run when the sun is shining.
