Note

Spirit animal; behold the majestic penguin, boldly taking steps into the unknown. When I look at this guy, I see myself.
3 AM

Running 50:54 [1] 10.0 km (5:05 / km) +15m 5:03 / km
shoes: 201607 Asics GT1000

Wee tourist run around DC - stopped by the White House, the Washington monument, the Jefferson Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial. I visited them all more extensively in 1996, but I hadn't previously done a tourism run in DC even though it's one of my favorite ways to get a sense of the city. My watch died near the end of the run. I was a bit low on time, so I grabbed a bike share from near the White House to Columbia Heights.

AM run with Alex around Columbia Heights in Washington, DC. We discovered DC has some hills, which was unexpected.

Note

Traveling to the OUSA Board of Directors retreat in DC this weekend. Between work, OUSA, and life busyness, this week has been a disaster. On the plus side, it will be nice to see the Board in person and my peeps Boris, Alli, Barney, and Kenny.

Note

It turns out that I have spent the past six Thanksgivings at Harriman. Consistency.

Also, this blows my mind:

Climbing 45:00 [3]

Climbing with Melanie and Joe. I battled with my nemesis 5.10a blue autobelay and attacked a few boulder problems. My strength and stamina were suboptimal, possibly from fatigue from the weekend. Dunno.
