Feel crappy, decided not to do the orienteering today, will take a couple of days off to rest and recover - a bit stink considering I have been taking it easy for the last 3 weeks!!

Didn't feel so good, felt like I was comming down with something viral. Back felt fine though I wasn't running too hard and spent a lot of the time looking at the map. Found it hard to concentrate for long, would tend to do a coulpe of controls ok then not pay attention and have to relocate.

Friday Apr 18

Road ride 37:49 [3] 13 km (2:55 / km)
Short ride down Pah road to the cycle way along the Mangere waterway, back up along the industrial area and through one tree hill home. Back felt ok - didn't wear a pack on purpose. Seat felt really low but nothing was hurting at the end.

Wednesday Apr 16

shoes: Innov8
Jogging along the grassy verge on the Panmure basin. Just a short one to see how the back goes. Felt fine, shoed did too - wearing the innov8s, tied up not so tight and with thicker socks, felt ok. Back still alright the next morning so will have a go at the orienteering on the weekend.
Note
Climbing. Belayed for the boys and did 3 climbs in my road shoes - that way wasn't tempted to do anything too hard. Felt good but weak, back ok.

Tuesday Apr 15

swimming 23:18 [3]
Increased speed this time around. 10 laps of freestyle, followed by 2 legs only, 10 of backstroke, 2 breaststroke, and 5 each of freestyle and backstroke, 1 each of legs only and breaststroke to finish off. Tried to increase the tempo a bit. Feel good but will see how I feel 2moro.

Note
Physio gave all clear to go ahead and start getting slowely back into things. Can still feel it a bit niggly and have a lot of stretches and exercises to do. Will take things by feel.
