L hip/adductor really sore when walking today. Might have been aggrevated by yesterday's intervals. Decided not to try and run on it.

Saturday Mar 29

shoes: Nike Air Zoom Elite 2
Weather: cold, overcast
15 mins w/up, 6 x strides then 6 x (500m@ 80%, 1 min SR). Times were 2.01, 2.05, 2.02, 2.12, 2.01, 2.10 (reps 2, 4 & 6 were slightly uphill so a little slower). STuffed by the end! A came with me which was a great motivator (he was faster though :( ). 5 mins cool down.

Weather: cool, overcast
Legs are so stiff from gym on Wed! No way I could have done the intervals I was planning. Instead did an easy P/line plod - felt queasy and had to have a toilet stop after 10 mins (first time that's happened in years!). Glad I went though although shorter than planned.
Note
Tried to do a core workout at the gym this afternoon but abs are so sore still that I couldn't even do one rep!!!

Weather: cold, spitting
Lord Street loop. Felt good although legs a little stiff at first from gym yesterday. L hip sore after 30 mins and feels like I am getting hip bursitis on that side as well (felt it yesterday on the treadmill) so had a couple of short walks in last 5 mins before stopping to walk up Fisher Ave. Very pleased I went especially as it was so cold - wore raincoat which felt good and I discovered it has underarm openings to cool off!!

Wednesday Mar 26

Hamstrings/chest/biceps. New program. Quite enjoyable which is amazing for me!

Did workout 1 after weights. VERY weak!
