Same route as yesterday. Ran with A which made a nice change - he said I wasn't as slow as he was expecting :)

Recovery run (10.15am) 19:54 [2]
slept:9.0 weight:78.7kg shoes: Nike Air Zoom Elite 2

Same route as Monday, but added in an extra loop around the croquet club as I was a couple of minutes faster today! Felt really good - stiffness only a minor niggle in the adductors now, and only had two short walking rests. Feeling faster and more upright already. Very motivating!

Schedule called for a run, but made the decision not to go until tomorrow as legs are still sore!

Recovery run (9am) 20:10 [1]
shoes: Nike Air Zoom Elite 2

First run in 10 months! Went from croquet club to end of Nutgrove and back, then street pram route and finished off around the ovals. Only 5 weeks since giving birth so wasn't expecting anything spectacular, but was pleasantly surprised with how good I felt! Didn't get puffed, or get a running sore throat or itchy legs like I usually do after a break. And only walked 3 x for about a minute because I wanted to, not because I had to! Pelvis quite niggly by the end, and the balls of my feet hurt a little, but otherwise I was quite stoked by how easy this was. I don't think it will take as long to get back into things as I thought - yay!
