Sprint Session 1:30:00 [5]
shoes: Reebok sandshoes

Another sprint session with Tim at about 8:30pm - this time with our friend, a rugby coach, running the session for us. He worked us harder, getting us doing a number of lunges, push ups and jumping exercises in between sprints. After an hour of this he took us into the gym and we did some hard ab work. Got through it, spent a long time stretching down - still felt it in the morning, but it wasnt a pain which was good. A second stretch down session just before bed was a really good idea to feel better in the morning.

Sprint Session 1:00:00 [4]
shoes: Reebok sandshoes

Sprint training session with Tim, a friend who is training this summer to get fitter for soccer next year. Pretty much let him run the session, as he has done a lot of sprint training sessions before. Set out cones, did acceleration work, turning, short intervals, all broken up by some ab work in between. Gradually built up to full sprint pace. Good hard hour of work.

Running intervals 15:13 [5] 4.2 km (3:37 / km)
shoes: Reebok sandshoes

Simple interval training: 10x420m laps (the size of the oval at uni) broken up by a walk/slow jog lap in between. Felt like another lap was spending a little too long recovering after each interval, but continued it for consistency. Felt good, maintained running form fairly well when fatigued.

Running warm up/down 10:00 [1] 1.68 km (5:57 / km)
shoes: Reebok sandshoes

Warm up and warm down for intervals (2 laps in 5 mins, as well as stretches, before and after)
