XC skiing intervals 15:00 [3]

looonggg intervals. two laps of the final 2k x2 (total of 8k of intervals). I really liked these intervals, they were at level three but definitely pushed me at the end, mike and I skied them together most of the way

skate/ double pole session... not all of the course was groomed for skating so we double poled the first 3k of the course. my abs were stil sore from tuesday!
we also did a few k of no poles.. snow has turned from death cookies to mashed potatoes

XC skiing 15:00 [5]

Interval day. hard! we started with a 2 min... and went up to a 2k interval.. with really icy but broken up "snow". mr holland called the snow - death cookies. somehow I didn't end up falling though ... despite the crazy balance issues.

felt ok on the intervals but really felt it in the legs and in the breathing... having mr holland behind me in the second one made me really push it!

Darn rain!! because it was pouring today we were inside instead of at putney racing a cont pursuit :(
So we did some running, yoga, and frisbee instead

2 sets of 10 min abs! ouchie! and also did 6 min leg strength... I can feel it already

Practiced continuous pursuit format with meiko.. his skis were so slow!
Then we went around the course taking out branches that were in our way... pretty easy practice

XC skiing race 20:00 [4]

5k classic at VA... crazy waxing conditions.. we ended up using rex orange- smells like smoked salmon weird!
I felt good in the race but catching up to karmen gave me a little bit of a false sense of doing well... I should have pushed it harder in the beginning oh well
