Lovely day. Took too long for me to get out the door, still feeling full from a late breakfast.

Up Parkin Clough then over Lose to Mam Tor, down to Edale, up Grindslow, around to Hope Cross, down towards Ladybower before a last climb up the back of Win Hill. Suffering a bit once on to Kinder, kept moving but not really enjoying it which is kind of the point at the moment.
Bailed out of a down'n'up (undergrowth providing me with an excuse) so made sure I did the last climb. At the top a group offered me a beer which I was sorely tempted by but a) i was only doing 30km and b) the drive home would not have been legal.

Peaks heaving, normally try to avoid the crowds but was interesting to see how busy it gets as never really experienced it on a wank holiday weekend.

Maybe a bit too much for a first week back, but want to get some climb in early as down in Cambridge quite a bit over next few weeks. Also will reign it in back end of this week with champs race in mind.
