Friday Feb 29

Note
slept:6.0
When I got back from labs it was blowing a gale and pissing it down, so stayed in on football manager/watching tv on the internet. Probably should have done at least something... oh well.

Thursday Feb 28

Note
slept:7.0 (rest day)
Thursdays is a bad day to do anything. Lectures from 11, so I sleep in, followed by a lab which (invariably) goes on until 5, then back home for food/giggles, then out to SingSoc, maybe with pub afterwards. Met Hollykins at the union after singsoc, so went for a few drinks with her to catch up before she headed off to the long blondes, and I went home to watch Rocky3 and enjoy the fun and games of 'hide all our stuff' back at the house.

Wednesday Feb 27

Orienteering 39:00 [3] ** 5 km (7:48 / km)
spiked:17/17c slept:8.0 shoes: Decathlon Kalenji Kapteren XT
Chasing sprint Prologue course in Eccy woods. Pootled a bit, but managed to get some map reading whilst running done! haha. Beat my Chasing Sprint time by a good 5mins at least - not bad considering lack of controls to see!
Running warm up/down 5:00 [1]
shoes: Decathlon Kalenji Kapteren XT

Tuesday Feb 26

Streching 8:00 [2]
slept:8.0
Start the day as you mean to go on! Bit stiff after circuits so stretched a bit. Lots of knotty muscles. mmm.
Running 36:00 [3] 4.79 mi (7:30 / mi) +70m 4:28 / km
shoes: Decathlon Kalenji Kapteren XT
Run on roads (mainley) and trails. Up Endliffe Vale road to Ranmoor, before going along Fulwood road to Fulwood. Cut down Brookhouse Hill and the track after it to near Whitley Woods (near the cafe on the ShUOC fell race), before running back through the parks. Ran through the woods in Bingham to make it nicer. Finished strongly up Riverdale Road, then Endcliffe Vale Road to home. Wind made it a bit chilly, but was a nice run. Felt good! Here's the route:

Tried to get Fazza to come out, but he made his excuses. Maybe if I'd told him I was going out earlier he may have come out. then again... :p
C • good effort man 2
Note
Also, first time I've used mapmyrun.com properly! And found out you can do elevations!
Elsewhere, really looking forward to BUSA and the JK.

Saturday Feb 23

Dancing intervals (Skanking) 2:30:00 [4]
RBF, STREETLIGHT and SB6
SB6 were great, as were streetlight, RBF were good, too many gimps in the crowd/new album tracks. Stull enough old ones though :D. fluceluce and I jogged a bit on the way to see if she was still broken... she was a bit.
FDebating going to hathersage tomorrow...

Monday Feb 18

Note
slept:6.0
Shattered, cold. May be due to bar crawl in a t-shirt last night. Maybe...
Anyway, not worth going to circuits, but the next 3 days are fairly empty/canceled lectures, so there's no excuse! Then there's 3 hours of skanking on Friday... Can't wait!

Wednesday Feb 13

Orienteering 45:00 [3] ** 5 km (9:00 / km) +225m 7:21 / km
spiked:16/16c slept:7.5 shoes: Decathlon Kalenji Kapteren XT
Danger's GIAG Ciurse around Bolehill and Crookes. Leg one was mahoosive and all downhill, which was nice. Apart from the fact you then had to get back up the hill. A few closed gates and the alley short-cut which turned out to be a garage, but was good. Did a bit of walking in walkly, but felt ok. Knees hurt, but no way near as much as they can do. Not too sure about the time, I'll put 45 mins though.

Tuesday Feb 12

Note
Got absoloutly fucked last night, and payed for it - leaving the lecture theatre to vom in the bogs at 3 in the afternoon - classy...

Loops - large-small-rest, 3 large and 4 small, or maybe 4 large 5 small, I wasn't counting.
Didn't feel too bad aerobically despite the lack of running I've done recently. Legs got tired, brain got tired (still not revised for tomorrow's exam...) and knee started aching a bit towards end. Maybe I need to change my running style. (soe people would say I need to stop running....)
Exam today went well - finished with an hour to go. Was home (via somerfield and Nisa twice) when there was still 15 minutes of it left to do...

Wednesday Feb 6

Dancing (Dropkick Murphys) 1:00:00 [3]

shoes: Really mank old Nike pro90s
"hardest session ever" - 45-15 (yeah, i counted a 10sec rest at one point :p )
Didn't do too badly, press ups are still crap compared to what I used to do.
Hurdle jumps made knee hurt a bit.
Streching warm up/down 5:00 [1]

Sunday Feb 3

Note
slept:7.5 (injured)
Woke up, knee felt odd. Feels ok after doing sod all though.
Other than that, not panicing over biochem, but not enjoying it...
Won't do anything until friday, apart from circuits tomorrow...

Saturday Feb 2

Note
slept:6.0 (injured)
Out in the snow at 4am. :)
Knee feels fine normally, but just wiggled it around a bit and still felt a bit iffy. I'll give it some more time off and start doing stuff properly after the exams in a week - Starting with Ceilidh!
