| Woke up a bit early, so decided to drift off again. Fannyed abour a bit before spending an hour going over notes before Genetics exam. It went.... well, it went. Dunno how well - could have cocked up what I thought was right.
But it's genetics. I don't care. Knee still hurts - less than yesterday, but after walking home from the uni via broomhill quite briskly, the steps were a bit painful. | ||

| Did 4 loops around the woods before it got a bit dark to see. 1 min. rests between each loop, approx. 2-2.30 for each loop. Felt OK
As was dark wen tonto the grass to do some shuttles - v.short. Syopped for a bit to tighten shoes, then Shin splints kicked in. Not normal shin-splints, mega horrible bastard shin splints. Tried to jog home but gave up and walked v.slowly back, almost hobbling. grr | ||

| First time running without long hair! whether that reflects my running history or my hair styles I don't know... To lantern Pike and back. Felt good and spent less time resting and walking! Right shin did start to feel tight on the way up, but managed to allay that until back on the trail on the way home. Finished strongly along the trail and up Watford road, especially from parkway to the drive so I could make it back in less than 45 mins. | ||

| From house to trail, off at Birch, up Pennine Bridleway (crossing Stich Lane) to Lantern Pike. To the summit, down the other side, then back along the pennine birdleway, home along trail then up watford road. Did a lot of stopping and a bit of 'walking with purpose' - stopped clock for some of those bits - i.e. the long bits on the way up. Should probably just run through them, as I found I felt better doing that later on. Felt good for doing it, but not to great at times whilst doing it. More food needed? Few stretches at home, and a walk down town later to warm down a bit. | ||
